To continue supporting the women of Hull and East Riding through the Menopaus’ull project, the team are recruiting volunteers to help with the delivery of different elements of the project.
The Menopaus’ull Team have developed a volunteer package, creating several different roles and offerings. However, if you can offer anything else to the project, that isn’t covered below, please get in touch.
Walk & Talk Volunteers – Volunteers would attend planned walks, welcoming ladies into a friendly and supportive group, where talking and sharing problems is the therapy.
Menopause Café Volunteers -Volunteers would organise meeting venues, times and host menopause café events. They would attend each event and encourage conversations, discuss menopause related information and welcome all ladies into a friendly and supportive group.
Menopaus’ull Events and Activities Volunteers – Volunteers would represent the Menopaus’ull Project team and be on hand to meet and greet people at events, follow instructions depending on the requirements of the event and support the Menopaus’ull Team as and when required.
Menopaus’ull Social Media Volunteers – Menopaus’ull has several social media outlets, including a Facebook page and group, Instagram, Twitter and its main website. The team would encourage volunteers to share menopause information across these outlets, respond to messages and represent the network in a professional manner, following social media policies.
Menopaus’ull Content Creator Volunteers – The team would welcome support in creating menopause related content, this will be in the form of blogs, research, finding the latest national menopause news and also contributing to its monthly newsletter.
Menopaus’ull Poster/leaflet Designer Volunteers -The team are seeking volunteers who have experience of designing posters and leaflets or volunteers who would like to learn new skills in this area.
All the roles would come with full training, support and equipment. If you would like to register your interest or would like to come and have a chat with the team, please email support@mnetwork.org.uk
