As we all know menopause is a natural cycle in a woman’s life yet it is often spoken about in codes and shrouded in stigma. In our society discussions around menopause are often hushed or set aside to be talked about quietly leaving many of us feeling isolated and misunderstood.
The Menopaus’ull team and its supporters want to break this silence and shine a spotlight on what can be a very empowering time for ladies! Lets embrace our strength and wisdom and share our stories openly – making a positive change and support each other along the way.
Join us on Thursday 23rd May at 6pm at the Alf Marshall Centre, HU7 4EE for a relaxed and informal discussion as we would like to hear your experiences with local health practitioners and if you and your concerns feel seen? Come along, share your experiences and create a positive impact in our community – nibbles and refreshments will be provided 🙂
As usual we will have the lovely Dr Lucy Fielding from Hull University in attendance who will be gathering peoples thoughts and experiences on this topic. These insights will be used to craft a menopause-inspired play. Rest assured, all information shared will be treated anonymously (written consent is needed for this and to attend), however, all attendees of any of the phase 2 workshops will receive an exclusive invitation to the play’s launch and its future endeavours!
