This month the Menopaus’ull team had the privilege of attending Dr Louise Newson’s The Power of Hormones tour at Hull City Hall alongside many of our wonderful supporters, and what an inspiring evening it was.
Dr Louise Newson’s talk was insightful, passionate and thought provoking. She spoke openly about the importance of education, advocacy and ensuring women feel listened to and supported throughout every stage of their health journey. Her message reinforced something we strongly believe at Menopaus’ull – knowledge truly is power.
The evening left the team reflecting on how important it is for all of us to take charge of our own health. Whether that means seeking information, asking questions, advocating for better support or simply making time to prioritise our wellbeing, every step matters. Being informed allows us to make empowered decisions and work towards becoming the healthiest version of ourselves, both physically and mentally.
Events like this remind us why conversations around menopause and women’s health are so important. They create connection, reassurance and a sense that nobody has to navigate these experiences alone.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the evening and to Dr Louise Newson for continuing to raise awareness and champion better support for women everywhere.
