Menopaus’ull is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to take part in a FREE 16-week exercise programme starting in January 2022.
The programme will be part of a research study in partnership with the University of Hull looking into improving bone health in women who are going through the menopause. The programme will involve assessing participants bone health pre and post programme and will require participants to commit to weekly exercise classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The classes will be held at Hull University’s Allam Sport Centre, Inglemire Lane and delivered by qualified personal instructors for the duration of the 16 weeks.
The tailored exercise programme will involve a variety of exercise styles from weights, circuit, aerobic, yoga and pilates. The study is aiming to attract women who have been inactive for a while or who are at particular risk of developing osteoporosis or osteopenia.
