Whilst many of us are aware of the physical symptoms that menopause can bring hormonal fluctuations can cause changes to your emotional wellbeing too and these can often be overlooked.
The Menopaus’ull team are hosting an evening of open and honest discussion on this misunderstood symptom of menopause and how its effects can be detrimental to our everyday lives. Feelings of frustration or resentment related to changes in our sexual desire can cause a strain on your relationship. Conversely, unresolved anger and stress can also have an impact on intimacy. We hope that by talking openly about these issues we can support each other and understand this can be a normal part of menopause and there are ways of dealing with it.
Join us at 6.00pm on Thursday 6th June at the Alf Marshall Centre, Goodhart Road, Bransholme, HU7 4EE for some warm discussions on this topic along with Dr Lucy Fielding from Hull University in attendance who will be gathering peoples thoughts and experiences on this topic. These insights will be used to craft a menopause-inspired play. Rest assured, all information shared will be treated anonymously (written consent is needed for this and to attend).
Refreshments & nibbles will be provided – book your space here!
We would love to see you there 🙂
